The 2017 Distinguished Lawyer Memorial Reception will honor the 2017 inductees who have demonstrated superior legal skills, high ethical standards and service to their community. Each inductee will be recognized with a plaque in the Hall of Justice at the San Diego County Courthouse honoring their induction into the DLM.

The Distinguished Lawyer Memorial gives special and permanent recognition to deceased lawyers and judges of the San Diego County Bar who demonstrated superior legal skills and high ethical standards throughout careers of significant length, as well as demonstrated commitment to the entire community. A list of past inductees may be viewed at www.sdcbf.org

THE MEMORIAL

Recognition in the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial induction is permanent, and plaques honoring each inductee are located in the Hall of Justice.

ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BAR FOUNDATION

The San Diego County Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the San Diego County legal community, and in partnership with the San Diego County Bar Association, strives to provide access to justice by investing in sustainable results and advocacy for people and communities in our region that that are impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination.  The Bar Foundation raises funds which enable it to annually make grants totaling approximately $200,000 to non-profits providing access to justice in San Diego County.
