ABOUT THE DISTINGUISHED LAWYER MEMORIAL CEREMONY

The Distinguished Lawyer Memorial (DLM) gives special and permanent recognition to deceased lawyers and judges of the San Diego County Bar who demonstrated superior legal skills and high ethical standards. Throughout careers of significant length, our recipients have also demonstrated a long track record of community and charitable work. A list of those  in the past may be viewed at www.sdcbf.org/honorees/

THE MEMORIAL

Recognition in the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial induction is permanent, and plaques honoring each inductee are located in the Hall of Justice.

ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BAR FOUNDATION

The San Diego County Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the San Diego County legal community, and in partnership with the San Diego County Bar Association, strives to provide access to justice by investing in sustainable results and advocacy for people and communities in our region that that are impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination. In 2019, SDCBF awarded $401,000 to 21 non-profit organizations that provide access to justice for people and communities that are most impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination throughout San Diego County.
