What Is the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial?
Purpose: The Distinguished Lawyer Memorial gives permanent recognition to deceased lawyers and judges who demonstrated superior legal skills and high ethical standards throughout careers of significant length. Being part of the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial is a permanent honor. Plaques honoring each inductee are prominently displayed on the 3rd floor of the San Diego Hall of Justice, the memorial can be visited during normal business hours.
Legacy of Service: Those inducted into the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial are individuals whose professional, public, and private careers have additionally demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of the community and the maintenance and support of the major objectives of the San Diego County Bar Foundation. This includes, but is not limited to:
