The 2024 Distinguished Lawyer Memorial Reception will honor the 2024 inductees who have demonstrated superior legal skills, high ethical standards, and service to their community. In addition, we will bring together the Honorees' families, friends, and colleagues to celebrate their distinguished careers and community service and honor their legacies.

ABOUT THE DISTINGUISHED LAWYER MEMORIAL CEREMONY

The Distinguished Lawyer Memorial (DLM) gives special and permanent recognition to deceased lawyers and judges of the San Diego County Bar who demonstrated superior legal skills and high ethical standards. THE MEMORIAL

Recognition in the Distinguished Lawyer Memorial induction is permanent, and plaques honoring each inductee are located in the Hall of Justice.

ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BAR FOUNDATION

The San Diego County Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the San Diego County legal community, and in partnership with the San Diego County Bar Association, strives to provide access to justice by investing in sustainable results and advocacy for people and communities in our region that that are impacted by poverty, abuse, and discrimination. In 2023, SDCBF awarded $390,000 to 25 non-profit organizations providing access to justice for people and communities most underserved throughout San Diego County.
